Mobile churches, also known as motor churches, were made by the REME during the Second World War, 21st Army Group. Image shows the Lord Archbishop speaking to the men who built a motor church. The dedication of the two motor churches of St George and St Paul by his Grace, the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury, took place at a REME depot in England.
