Old Riding Stables (Remount Depot) at Arborfield
“The stables, sited opposite the Garrison Hall, are the last remnant of the Remount Depot. It takes us back to the 1911-14 period during which the Depot, which had first been established in 1904, was greatly expanded just prior to World War I.”
