Taken outside B vehicle repair hanger, Army camp, Muharraq, Bahrain adjacent to RAF Muharraq. I believe this photograph was taken earlier than October 1969 since I am fairly sure I am the good looking dude third from right in third row from front. I left the unit after 8 months in early August 1969 for UK on regular discharge.
Front row, fifth from left: Ssgt Vince Luttman. A and G
Front row, ninth from left wearing REME forage cap: OC. Maj B Riordan
Front row, second from right: Sgt (later Maj) Mick Eagle. Chief Clerk
Third row from front, third from right: Cpl C R Ford. Orderly Room clerk
Hi Chris,
Thank you for all the names, it’s incredibly helpful. As for the date, I’ve changed it to a more general 1969 – we can only go off what is written on the photos and it’s up to each individual how accurate these can be!
Best wishes,
Zoe
